1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive
robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and lifted itself when it reached carpets or rug.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs
best rated robot vacuum vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled whenever required. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual border within the app). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the dirtiest areas well, keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is useful for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors However, it tends to leave a large space around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings as well as look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to be able to reach every particle of dust. This is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 has the
best automatic vacuum and mop mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. The device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you need to empty it less often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction when needed. The app allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
