The Best double to single buggy Buggy Strollers

If you're expecting twins, or have two children of different age groups, a double buggy can help you get out and about. The best ones are easy to manoeuvre and handle rough surfaces and kerbs.

They also have features like large sun canopy with hoods that can be seen through and seats that can be adjusted.

1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest in the Baby Jogger range. It was designed specifically to travel and fits through doors that are standard with its ultra-narrow shape. It's also one the lightest double buggies you can find weighing only 14lb when folded. It's ideal for travel with a toddler and a newborn since you won't exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It also folds to the size of a backpack so that you can put it away in the back of your car when it's not in use.

It's easy to fold the Z-shape by using one hand. Once you've gotten used to it, it is small and takes only a few minutes. However our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing. Also, since the handlebar wasn't locked to its place when you press it, it hit her legs when she was using it. The handlebar was a little on the short side, especially with a big changing bag hanging from it.

The double travel buggy stroller isn't as light as other travel buggies. It's got a broad array of features and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately) It also has various recline positions, and comes with a UV 50+ canopy. You can also add the bassinet to either or both seats to make it a travel system.

The four wheels made of rubber are perfect for pavements and urban terrain however they're not made for off-roading. They slid on gravel and long grass, and there isn't much clearance between the wheel and the bracket so mud was able to get stuck easily. Our tester loved this buggy and was able to climb pretty dirt hills.

The iCandy Orange double buggy is the most stylish, versatile and quality. It is a must-have for parents who want the latest in design and quality. It is also stylish and lasts. The 2021 update comes with few enhancements, including improved maneuverability, a larger basket and a redesigned bumper bar that has a leatherette cover. The seats are molded and are very comfortable. The seats are also adjustable, so they can be placed according to the needs of siblings. iCandy has introduced the first "cinema seating" style that allows parents to maintain eye contact with both children. They can also be adjusted to face either the parent or the towards the world.

It's a heavier tandem buggie but it's a breeze to operate and drive particularly on smooth roads. It is stable in both double and single mode and even on sloped ground. It's not as easy to drive on public transportation, however, since it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It's also quite bulky and can't be stuffed into the standard car boot for families with the seat in place, but this can be overcome with some careful planning. iCandy have included the footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters in the price, so it's an excellent value bundle for new parents.

The Nipper Double V5 from Out 'sit n stand double stroller' About is a new version of the award-winning all-terrain buggy. Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even when moving on uneven ground or turning quickly in a busy street. The feature that the seats can be reclined independently was also hugely appreciated.

They also loved that the hoods were able to be moved forward and back and back, making them much easier to adjust to the sun or for wind protection. Our testers did discover however that they didn't provide an enormous amount of coverage when compared to something like the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods which is why it's worth packing a rain cover just in case.

From seeing wildlife in the forest or rushing to a park to play with their friends, they loved it. They were also impressed by how cosy and spacious the two seats are, with plenty of space for toddlers to play in. Our testers did mention, however, that the lack of a parent-facing seating and inability to use car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage, and they would have liked to see more storage space for shopping and other equipment.
