He tests and evaluates cleaning appliances, focusing on robot vacuums and mopping combos. Multitaskers are ideal for those looking to eliminate mopping from their to-do lists. They have impressive mapping and obstacle avoidance, and some even wash and refill their own mopping pads to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a best robot vacuum that mops autonomous vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other options on this list making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one sweep. Its 8,000pa motor is able to pick up dirt, pet hair, and even droppings easily. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help pull out debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as effective. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful to get into tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install, and it works well. However should you purchase this robot vacuum to mop, you will need to be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a range of features.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map your home and detect furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean effectively and intelligently. This will result in an efficient, consistent clean which is also relatively fast.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach many surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach spots. They also have a stretchy side brush that can be extended to reach the floor near walls and other fixtures. In addition the mop pads are able to be dried and washed to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce the odors.

App-based customization is a different interesting feature. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the amount of suction and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more randomized pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it should make, which will determine how quickly the device can traverse your home. You can also choose to disable the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.

This device has a fairly expensive price, but has a variety of smart features. It is important to remember that the device will incur periodic costs in the form of mopping supplies and regular maintenance. For example the brushroll has to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad must be replaced every one to three months.

This robotic vacuum cleaner is rated highly on Amazon and includes a broad variety of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also has an energy button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a Home' button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically emptys the dustbin, refills its water tank, and cleans and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a busy professional or someone who just wants to have a clean home without spending hours doing chores then the Shark Matrix Plus is a good option. Its powerful performance, intelligent navigation and long battery life make it easy to maintain a clean house with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it is able to handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two parts, a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module that includes microfiber pads. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean you don't have to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

Our test subjects discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. Its most impressive feature is its precise floorplan map, which it employs when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' and virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of picking up hair of pets. It was able to collect many of the hair shed by our cats, and even made it into the nooks and crannies on our stairs where other robots struggled. The noise levels were low and there were nice jingles to let you know that it was starting and finishing its work.

Its biggest drawbacks were its simplistic app and the need to switch out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app is not able to store multiple maps. This could be a problem if your home has several floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for an intelligent robot that is capable of mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base has a few control buttons that let you manually begin a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock's automatic vacuum and mop emptying procedure. Press two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets caught in a hazard, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't function until you remove it manually. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert on its app.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad except for the fact that mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big difference from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for an industry dominated by boxy units.
