Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgMost robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an app that can save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune how much water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are vital for my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session, and it can even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system that will raise the pad when it goes from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just set it and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. If you are able to justify the price we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most powerful robotic hoovers vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it did well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops were also excellent and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. Additionally the mops aren't efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best automatic vacuum cleaner robot vacuum and mop you can buy but its high cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your floors. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even has an best automatic vacuum mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot cleaner with mop and it gets a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and dumped into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do select this option you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaner of choice.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that this device maps or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized way. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpgThe most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for those who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
