Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopIf you need to clean up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops that I test had superior mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were strung up.
You can also schedule cleaning chores with an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient
robot mop and vacuum combination. It has the latest features. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble it can remove debris such as pet hair and human hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a mini map of your house and a few buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another noteworthy feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.
It has a variety of other smart features as well, including a different dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. You can also make use of voice commands using the S8's built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands-free
robot cleaner vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's among the many combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves establishing an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the
robot vacuum cleaner reviews will start vacuuming and mops easily.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets a good picture of your room. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a rug with tassels and required a flip to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an appliance that can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously misting with water to capture dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. The operating level of the sound is also very high, which means this model might not be as easy to set and forget as the other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dustbin, wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to regular schedules. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the
Best robot vacuum cleaner UK vacuums/mowers that are available. It provides impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, and even modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors that lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The docking station functions as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station has an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, which allows for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8, this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your home which allows it to know where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).
It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to cut down on time, it will skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features, this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't take care of tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains more quickly than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in tiny spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it does a good job of navigating tight spots. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of each object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they aren't picked up during future cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
