Robots That Vacuum and MopRobots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet mess (spills and staining) in one time without the need to switch out devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that have docks that let them automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer at a modest price and is one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is easy, and the quick-start guide will have you up and running in no time. You'll have a a full dust bag, water tank and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The
vacuum mop cleaner robot comes with four power modes, a variety of brushes and attachments, and a user-friendly application that lets you pick the exact kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For instance, you could decide to let the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only drawback is that it can hit objects and walls at a high speed, but an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed and what obstacles it's avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance jobs are required including emptying the debris tray and washing the water tank that is dirty. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank using a 600ml bottle of Eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro
best automatic vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time, with the mop able to operate for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode, and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you see every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's flagship robot mop and
vacuum mop cleaner robot. This year's model has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This increases the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has an improved suction capacity, allowing it to pull up small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners might be unable to pick up.
Like the two other Roborock models I've tried it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to helps it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by having a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they are an object that is a wall or a different surface. It can then automatically change its direction and clean them without skipping a beat.
It's the most expensive model I've tried, but it also has the most features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching, and it only has three physical buttons. The power button, which restarts the cleaning process mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin auto-refills.
The only downside I found to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if needed) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount to wash manually. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number clever features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these using the Roborock app, which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track the life of batteries and maintenance on components. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with cutting-edge features, high suction power and advanced mowing capabilities. Its innovative design allows for customised and efficient cleaning while saving you time.
The X40 is the first robot vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the most effective options available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair as well as crumbs and other dry mess. It comes with a mop of high quality that cleans hard floors without the use of a pad. The X40 is also extremely quiet in operation and only occasionally bursting during mode changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 has a side brush that can be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean curved furniture such as table and chair legs. The robot can also reach under furniture that is low-profile which makes it a great option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that helps the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by repeated back-andforth movements.
Unlike some other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 can perform both vacuuming and mopping simultaneously or individually. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, and vice versa. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is simple to use and understand, and the X40 has many smart features that are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. They can also adjust suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping setting. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to keep clean and has many convenient features that make it a great option for busy families. The docking station will automatically empty the dustbin, and clean the mop pads, then refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It also can detect when the mop pad is overflowing and notify you when it overflows, thus reducing the need for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end
robot vacuum that mops that's among the most expensive on the market and comes with numerous additional features that distinguish it from. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This uses two high-speed mops to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can clean pet hair and smaller dirt particles and also pick up spills and wet spots.
The mop is also cleaned and dried inside the base station after each use. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen before on other
robot mop or vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.
There's a plethora of settings available which include the ability to schedule cleaning and alter a variety of preferences. The app allows you to set these preferences or you can utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and has many options for customising your cleaning routine. It also comes with a number of features that aren't available on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on market, sporting metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It's a little heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list - at 4kg however it's not overly heavy either, and it feels robust and well built. Mopping is well designed and the double-rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can also reach down to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice feature.
