Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method of quickly cleaning up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and check on how they're up to.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're looking for the best automatic vacuum cleaner robot vacuum and mop combo with bleeding-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface with an interactive map of your home as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.

Another noteworthy feature is the S8's ability to change its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.

It has a variety of other smart features as well, including a different dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to control rooms cleaning options and granular control using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's one of many combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are offered at a lower price than other models.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot is able to begin cleaning and mopping easily.

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate image of your room. In addition the detection of objects can be hit or miss; it was able to get around furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to turn its back to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an appliance that can do it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums can't.

This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. And the smart app lets you adjust the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuums best vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without needing an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also has an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology was effective, navigating close to walls without crashing and avoiding stairs. It struggled with fine debris and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than others.

Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuums/mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision. The app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to avoid contamination.

The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows for seven weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8, this robot does a bang-up job of keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D-map of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.

It has other great standout features, including an automatic emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can get to areas other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.

Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. If you're looking to save time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features, this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot that can handle regular daily maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings through the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've test.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did very well. It also includes a wide range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum reviews vacuum for those who live in tiny areas. It's extremely quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It also does a good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than most of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a picture of any object it finds (i.e. chew toys,, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they won't be removed during subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't linked to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpg
