Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will sometimes get so entangled with obstacles, like an electrical cord dangling across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you manually free it. This was a rare incident however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert on its app.

Another potential downside is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between use. This can lead to mildew and mold.
