The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can is able to clean up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops are spun at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app which lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.

For instance, you can request the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom in its own space. 2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's most popular robot vacuums uk vacuum and mop. It's not like the model from last year it comes with two agitators in its mopping pad, which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power which allows it to pull up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.

This Roborock model, like the other two I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it overcome obstacles like walls, furniture and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they're a wall or another surface. It will then automatically alter its direction and clean the objects without a pause.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed however, it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is striking and only has three physical buttons that include the power button which can also restart cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can send the robot vacuum uk back to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml of water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin fills up automatically.

The only negative I found with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet the robot cleaner crosses will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and that can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the life of batteries and maintenance on components. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its intelligent design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while reducing time.

It also can detect when the mop pad is filled and alert you before it overflows, thus reducing the need for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has many features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This utilizes two mops that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also remove pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and soiled spots.

Its mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This is an excellent feature because it prevents the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen in other robot cleaner with mop vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.

There's an impressive amount of settings on offer that include the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. They can be set through the app, or via buttons that can be found on the unit itself. The app is simple to use and provides a number of options for customising your cleaning routine. It also has a number of features that aren't available on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on the market, with metallic and white design that looks classy and sophisticated.
