best robot vacuum that mops Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They pass our cleaning tests, and can take care of various floors. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty and clean stairs.
Many of the
best automatic vacuum cleaner models are compatible with smartphones. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to identify our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rugs.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when required.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent, with a pair spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra
robot vacuums best vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender on our top
robot vacuum cleaners best automatic vacuum cleaner and mop and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a large distance over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for live video surveillance. But, you'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic in removing dirt and debris but they can't reach all dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price even though it's not able to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also features a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an
automatic vacuum and mop water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. The device also collects dust in a larger bin that means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if necessary. The app allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
