It can be driven close to walls without hitting them and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when it drives over rugs and short-pile carpets. However, it struggled in the presence of carpets with a longer pile and also some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to be used right out of the box, and it requires only just a few minutes of mapping to get to know your home.
