Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Choose models that allow users to select between different modes, self-empty and clean stairs.

A lot of the top models work with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be emptied, though this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.

The robot hoover comes with an easy interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges for those areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled whenever needed. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the application). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station whenever required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one area to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge space around obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.

Its app has a streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop setting and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You'll need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up dirt and debris, but it can't always be able to reach every bit of dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do exactly that. It is simple to connect it to your WiFI network at home and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it does not have mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.

Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot vacuum cleaners reviews at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic vacuum cleaner empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning times and determine the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. It also has the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
