Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopIf you're looking to clean up messes quickly then a
robot vacuum uk vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops I tested had great navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were strung up.
They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the
best automatic vacuum robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a miniature map of your home and a few buttons on the screen to control the device manually.
Another standout feature is the S8's ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It has a variety of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to clean and wash the mop roller without needing refilling it manually. You can also use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that can also mop. It's part of a plethora of combo robot vacuums that also include mops but is priced at a lower price than the majority of competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping effortlessly.
It is important to remember that the mapping process may take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your room. Additionally, object detection can be hit or miss It was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to turn it over to get free. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to get into places that a robotic vacuum can't.
This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the
robot cleaner with mop vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. The battery lifespan is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at a reasonable price. It is equipped with an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping system, which utilizes a continuous roller dosed with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding steps. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model might not be as simple to set and forget as other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin as well as dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with an established schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. It provides an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot vacuums/mowers available, and it offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision. The app lets users fine-tune map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating the carpet.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean. It is also able to reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create an outline of your space and knows where not to go. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
It also comes with other standout features, including an
automatic vacuum cleaner emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. And, if you're looking to save time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to invest extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a good choice. It comes with a variety of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that offers a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It also comes with a variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for light debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, without getting your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in small spaces. It's quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than the majority of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it can be configured to take photos of each object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. The photos are secure and are not linked to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
