The Joie Roomie Glide
They are known for their high-end baby products for babies, the English brand Joie has stepped into the world of cribs for
bedside cot wooden use with the Roomie Glide. This co-sleeper was designed to help parents connect and sleep side by side with their babies without sharing a single bed. It's loaded with features that help make bonding between parent and baby secure, easy, and fun.
One of the most important features is a smooth, rocking motion that can be activated with the press of a button. This gentle rhythm can help soothe your baby into sleep without disturbing their natural sleeping patterns. This is ideal for toddlers and older babies who are struggling to settle and can also help with digestive issues such as reflux and colic.
The crib can be locked into its place after the rocking has been completed to stop it from moving and can also be secured to the bed's side with clips and straps. This makes the crib very solid and secure which allows you to rest comfortably without fearing that your baby will roll off into the middle. The Maxi-Cosi Lora
The Iora is a
bedside cot newborn bassinet that allows parents to feel more connected to their infant while they sleep. It can be adjusted upwards and downwards, and moved through three different slide positions to fit beside the bed of the parent or in the corner, so the baby is always within reach. The mesh siding allows air to flow through, and allows you to see your baby quickly. You can also put away additional pajamas or other items in the large basket underneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside crib that folds flat. It also comes with a travel case so it can be carried anywhere. It was easy to move around from room to space, and our mum testers believed it was the right size for a bedside crib. The large storage basket is perfect to store extra bedding or nappies.
This is an excellent choice for parents who are looking to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but don't want to share their beds, or whose partners might have mobility issues, like arthritis or back pain. Our mom testers are thrilled with the ease with which they can access their baby in the Iora and that it has an option to tilt the bed upwards to help with gas.
Our mothers also love the fact that it complies with NICE guidelines that state to put the baby in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys, pillows, etc). They also say that the mattress is comfortable and firm for the baby and easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as other smaller bedside cribs, though, so if you want something lighter and easier to move around with, think about one of the other options on our list.
