All-terrain stroller that is light durable, sturdy and provides excellent maneuverability. The compact fold that can be folded with just one hand makes it easy to move. It can also stand on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines into a nearly flat position, and there's a huge canopy and storage bin. Newborn suitability: Yes it comes with a carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).
A good suspension and air-filled tires can help you to handle rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. However, you should wait until the baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba Air
This
lightweight 3 wheel stroller pushchair from Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will enjoy. The travel system includes a lie flat carrycot for babies and an adjustable rear and forward facing seat for a pushchair.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to comprehend why it has received such high marks from its customers. It is extremely light with the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It is also very simple to put together. In fact, I was able to complete the entire setup and running in just five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that it also included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!
The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to use. There's a good amount of room in the basket and I am awestruck by the fact that it comes with an open-top pocket on the handle bar so you can keep your phone and keys secure!
The handlebar is low, which may be an issue for parents who are taller. It's covered in a soft, comfy leather-like material, and is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is a great choice for parents who enjoy exploring and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest trails and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked for extra versatility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness as well as a front bar to keep your little one secure on all journeys, while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you rest. The seat can be repositioned to lay down and the canopy can be opened for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit the needs of dad or mum.
No matter if you're taking a quick jog or a longer hike The Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a comfortable, flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee an unhurried ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets and crowded sidewalks and the stroller folds up easily to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.
Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a bit more difficult to navigate than its predecessor, and the locking system is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebars are higher than the ones of other competitors, which means they may not be suitable for smaller parents. However the stroller is strong and a lot of fun and is a good option by families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its well-designed and no-fuss essentials for parenting. It's the most recent and most expensive product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller range and like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable which means you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some amazing design touches such as the rose gold tint of the chassis, hood and stroller trims that truly distinguish it from its competitors. The grey, tan and cream fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are super fashionable and there's the option of adding a co-ordinating leather cover handle and bumper bar too.
The stroller seat can be used from birth to 22kg. It converts easily into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 inches x 43cm and 32 inches, which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on either side are easy to use and click to lock it in the right position.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis has shorter
3 wheel reversible stroller length which makes it easier to maneuver than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two children - a toddler and an eight-week old - across the rocky roads, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.
The puncture-proof wheels are huge - 22cm and 30cm - which means they can handle lots of different terrains. The wheels have an opening that can be closed or opened to let more air in when needed. It's a bit bigger than other pushchairs, however it isn't heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to wipe down. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt safe using it in busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it incorporates accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a tray for snacks. The hood can be used to block out the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. It took around 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to transform it into the seat.

best 3 Wheel pushchair features is the reversible handlebar, which allows you to adjust it to your height and preference. The Ridge's fold, unlike many jogging strollers is reliable and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will impress parents. It has a Multi-Mode wheelbase as well as an LED Visibility Hub light that's a first in the industry. It features an integrated Ride-on Board that saves on future costs and allows tired toddlers to accompany their parents when they go on excursions.
The Core can be purchased as a stand-alone unit or as an entire travel system. it is compatible with all the popular car seats from brands like Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. The parent's adjustable handlebar and child's bumper bar that can be detached are made of soft leatherette, and the fold-away calf support is also very comfortable for children.
I was awed by how easy it is to fold and collapse - it only takes one hand with the seat unit in place. It's also easily tucked away in your boot and hallway, making it perfect for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of additional accessories, including a colour matching changing rucksack and a liner/footmuff.
