Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle various floors. Look for models that allow you to select from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean the stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.
When I tried the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rug.
The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep
cleaning robot mop and vacuum. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one
robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can be stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also filled at the top of the station if they are required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the
best robot hoover mops and
robot vacuum cleaners reviews vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It is able to move from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, change suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up debris and dirt however, it's not able to reach every last bit of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen in this price range even though it's not able to wipe your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also features a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app allows you to mark areas you want to avoid this is a useful feature.
