World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon ends in %, it will increase an additional 3% of the previous attack damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

upgrade item components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players make stronger versions of the equipment that require fewer Upgrade Crystals than would be required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can modify the attack or defense characteristics of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of an item will be revealed in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much they'll improve after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be expensive, and it is possible that the item will be obsolete or even break if the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items that can double or even eliminate the chance of failure, as well as some upgrades that offer a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in many ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 as soon as possible.

It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. These are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded up to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without any restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the many Glyphs, and there are also a few rare glyphs that can be obtained as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrade to put Glyphs in strategic places on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for example should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may be able to place them near their most critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system lets players increase the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is often referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled until they reach a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires a different number of components, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets leveled up.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same type. The same armor can be transformed into an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This can be a disadvantage in that it could cause the item to become more expensive, even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced with a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is a good idea, but should not be used frequently as it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times which increases their value and giving players the ability to alter their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides a buff if the player is repeatedly in or exits water. The item upgrades can be upgraded several times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item can be very valuable in PvP as an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets above ilvl 385--by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an Item Upgrader (www.jslt28.com) NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the base defense of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can be upgraded up to eight times. Each time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will result in the item returning to its original state and the player having to purchase more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any gained bonuses such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in its crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined by its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item may have five upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items might have different upgrade requirements from normal equipment. For instance they might require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade requires the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
