World of Warcraft Upgrade Item Guide
The Upgrade item is a special evolution
item upgrader that trainers can use to evolve Porygon into Porygon2. This transformation requires an Upgrade as well as a Sinnoh Stone, and 50 Porygon Candy.

Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They can be used to add an additional benefit or impact while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted, obtained as a reward, or created by crafting materials. Alongside providing bonus attributes, upgrade items can also be cosmetically beneficial.
Upgrade components can include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They are generally not available for general use and are only available to ascending equipment or certain non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be retrieved from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device, or salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade products, can be exchanged and reused while still attached to the item that is being upgraded. These upgrade items can be used to boost weapon and armor quality, without spending Dilithium. They can increase the chances that the item will receive a high-quality upgrade.
Upgrade components can be added to an item but the old one is destroyed (except for legendaries and ascended equipment). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or greater can include upgrade components them. When you upgrade an existing weapon equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the upgraded item as it appears in the game (for instance, adding the Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can only own up to three upgrade items at a time.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a fantastic accessory to any
item upgrade. They provide unique benefits and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, which increases its effectiveness. These glyphs are obtained by completing dungeons. Some are even found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to keep in mind that glyphs cannot be used on a character that has not been able to create an dungeon with a root of the same size.
To use a Glyph it is necessary to build it from components and connect them to anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph using components, you can employ a combination of anchors and paths. Drag an element close to a highlighted component to secure it.
Some glyphs require certain conditions to be met like 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a particular number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which can be a bit difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that increases as you level it up.
Glyphs are able to be applied to a variety of weapons and items, with the exception for those belonging to a particular class. Certain glyphs can be used with additional requirements, like the requirement for a certain amount of Dexterity damage, or Attack damage for a specific area of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the probability of preventing enemy attacks by 5%. It also has an opportunity of 15%, making the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs may also be applied to limited use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most popular glyphs are the attack glyphs which boost the ATK substats of Artifacts by a flat amount. These glyphs are especially useful for classes that employ weapons that are ranged, like Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are special tokens that are used to reroll the results that are rolled when performing an Action. When the reroll occurs the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained in many ways, like raids and dungeons or through participation in skirmishes. They can also be bought in the store or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials, because they let players roll the rewards of the final chest.
Recycle point values are provided for items at the level 1. When an item is recycled, it will add a specific amount of points to the gauge of upgrade. This is based on the rarity of the item as well as its level. In addition the upgraded item won't keep its level after rerolling and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases depending on its level.
Another option is to use reroll tokens in order to reroll an upgrade item (
check out the post right here) however this will not bring the item back to its original state or provide its original extra stats. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment that they don't love but want to keep in their collection.
There are three kinds of upgrade tokens that are available in the game: reroll, random, and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens come in three different levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each requires an item from the respective level to produce the new item with the same quality.
To make use of reroll tokens, click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select a type of token. The available tokens include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The
item upgrade token can be used to create a new Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon belonging to the same faction.
There is also a possibility that the
item upgrade could be upgraded to a different item that has more level and same stats. This is likely to happen when the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or has been transferred to it as part of a Franchise Card.
