Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single to a double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations in all and is the highest-rated stroller. This model uses Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a moderate-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping handlebar is one of the simplest to adjust and works well for parents of all sizes. The seats recline, and they have an adjustment button for the footwell so you can position your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, however we would have preferred to have a more secure latch. It's easy to reach, but we discovered the zippers to be a little frustrating since they have to be completely undone and refastened for each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It is suitable for sandals and barefoot and an improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that other competitors use.
This is the only stroller in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or parents with a single child and a new baby due. It can be used with the majority of major brands' infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families with a car seat and need a stroller that can accommodate it, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat in this case.
