Best robot vacuum uk Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of
robot vacuums uk vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps as well as set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and the amount of water your mop consumes.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are vital in my house, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pets, plants, and other small objects.
The
robot vacuum cleaner best vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock, and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can afford the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The high price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it did well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are bought separately are required to be replaced regularly too.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best
robot vacuum and mop you can buy, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself, making it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop combos like the S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has many functions at a a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The default pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for those who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their
robot cleaner. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
