Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Look for models that allow you to select from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to self-empty and clean the stairs.
Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it reached carpets or carpets.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. However, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
The robot is simple to install and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished as needed. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other
robots that vacuum and mop struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can be stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can reduce by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum mop cleaner robot (
https://gitea.sprint-pay.com/robotvacuummopsuk1522/1555089/wiki/11-ways-to-totally-block-your-autonomous-vacuum) vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the most soiled areas efficiently, while keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide space over obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get live video surveillance. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up dirt and debris however, it's not able to reach every last piece of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect it to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.
Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an
automatic vacuum and mop robot-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an
automatic vacuum cleaner and mop refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums are unable to. The device also stores dust in a larger bin that means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if necessary. The app also allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
