It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through an efficient.

It's extremely fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, hallways, and living room in a single pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to pick up dirt, pet hair, and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help pull out debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, isn't as good. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into difficult corners or along baseboards. Those same front arms can be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys and fallen books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuum cleaners best vacuums and mops I've ever used. It doesn't create the same volume of sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install, and it works well. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have certain unique features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni's main draw is its enormous dock, which doubles as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a cleaning sink and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base comes with a few control buttons that allow you to manually begin a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to switch on the child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will sometimes get so entangled with an obstacle--such as the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its app.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually swap between the two, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome sight in a space which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
