The best robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning chores with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum combo. It is equipped with the latest features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a mini map of your home and some on-screen buttons to allow manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to adjust the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

The mop roller comes with many other smart features, such as docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and granular control using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features with mops, however it's priced at a lower cost than the majority of competitors.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop easily.

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process could take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate image of your room. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and had to flip over to get it out of the way. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just being swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that a robotic cleaner and mop vacuum can't.

This model is nearly identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place the debris into a self sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean, and also stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle avoidance. It also boasts a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously filled with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.

Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing, and staying clear of stairs. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as the other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. You can control all its functions using the Eufy app, which provides an overview of the system and plenty of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they're near soft surfaces to avoid contaminating the carpet.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they are empty.

6. S10

This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.

Other great features include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable to water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room in your home.

Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood rugs with high-pile. If you're looking to save time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't wish to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice to consider if you're looking for a robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features including a self-emptying dustbin and the water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet and can move around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't pick up knotted rug tassels and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the more powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It is very fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces well. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not connected to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not so good robot vacuum in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot, and it basically drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
