Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any money wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item upgrading. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item upgrader kit. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in battle without straining their bank accounts. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. There are a variety of ways to obtain the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item level upgrade an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.

The upgrade items Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item upgrader is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
