Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an
item upgrader mod that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to
upgrade item armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the
item upgrader kit's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the
item upgrader mod to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. This is a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several methods to get the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be added and an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.
Certain items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the
Best item upgrade in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
