In addition to Rerolling affixes and rerolls, players can also choose which of the available stats they want to keep on an item when it is upgraded. The possible stat ranges for an item are determined by the item upgrade; xojh.cn, level, but all items are guaranteed to have at least 1 stat within the specified range, unless it's a unique item or a God roll from a boss of a raid.
This is another thing that could be altered by adding an option to upgrade the equipment without rolling the affixes or deciding which stats to increase. Like the base equipment, this will have to be done per item, and the interface for item comparison would not display all the possible stats simultaneously.
Item Luck
A player's Luck stat stacks up to increase the odds of item discoveries as well as the properties that appear on loot drops and the intensity of those properties. However, it does not directly impact damage or the ability to upgrade items. It provides players with the chance to upgrade their equipment earlier in the game. This is more beneficial in early game runs because players tend to put the scaling of weapons and defenses over raw damage gains.
