Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is a kind of enchantment that improves the stats of certain armor or weapons. This includes secondary stats such as Leech or Speed.
A special item of evolution that allows Porygon2 to evolve and become Porygon2. It is found at Pokestops and Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment and provide smaller bonuses than other components that are specific to the type of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system allows players to improve items by increasing their level. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also enhanced by the level increment. Each level upgrade gives an additional bonus based on the tier and increases the stat by a factor of 3. These extras can range from a +1 up to +3 bonus to a random buff or debuff.
Each item can be upgraded for a specific amount of times. However, after an
Upgrade Item the item can be changed into a higher-tiered item that is of equal or greater value.
This system is useful for players who want to acquire equipment with a specific level of stats prior to purchasing a new
item upgrader. Transfer systems allow players to avoid the waste of upgrade materials and is easy to use.
Upgrade materials can be gathered by a player as they clear content. They are then used to replace or improve an item. Each item requires a specific type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. The materials are named after when the item is upgraded, for example Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
It is crucial to upgrade items to improve a character's performance. However, it is also important to think about how much this will cost. The cost of upgrading an item could be a lot of gold, which could be better spent on new gear. This is why it's
Best item upgrader to upgrade the most important items in any given situation.
This implies upgrading the weapon, followed by the legs, chest and the helm. If the player is able to afford it upgrading trinkets must be done at this point to increase their potential for procs. Upgrades to a high-end Throne of Thunder item may be worthwhile due to the more damage it can cause. However, certain trinkets are not worth upgrading in the absence of a significant upgrade for a specific build. This is particularly true of the breakpoint gear that is used for high-value stats like IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a technique that allows players to change the stats of the weapon, armor or ring based on the kind. It can be used to replace bonuses or to add new ones. It can also be used to alter the item's base power.
While rerolling can be an effective way to increase your power in the initial stages of the game, it's not a mandatory element of the game. Once you hit your goal of upgrading to level 6 generally, you should roll down and find the best upgrades that you can or save for the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a strong lineup at the time you reach your level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling process is similar to that of the leveling up system. Reroll tokens can be used to eliminate any Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens don't reset the item's level. This means that when you roll an upgraded item, it will no longer be at the same level and won't have its extra bonus.
Players can also utilize the special mechanic Eliminate, which will remove any Level Up option they have on their equipment or weapons. This is beneficial when you have a bad gacha or need to roll an item that has five stars. To do this, you will have to create an account, or log in through social media.
In each town, you are able to visit an Occultist to alter the attributes or stats of a weapon or armor. This is useful if you have a five-star epic unit you'd like to improve, or if you have an elite four-star character you are struggling with.
Rerolling tokens can be obtained by completing certain quests. They can be purchased from the Occultist at 300 gold, or found in holozons that are dropped in certain dungeons. You can then reroll any weapon or armor by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on your unit's page.
Sets
A set is a set of items that have a certain amount of similarity. You will use sets on a regular basis, such as a dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are useful for organizing things and utilizing operations like intersection, union, and difference to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in various ways, such as organizing music on a list of play lists or dividing students based on their grades.
In Nioh, the game uses sets to offer special effects for players who wear pieces of a specific Armor Set. These bonuses are known as Set Bonuses and they are superior to Effects. While it's not explained in the game's universe why the armor sets must be worn together to create these extra effects, they provide a nice change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses are available in several places throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Each piece of equipment included in a Set comes with a variety of Set bonuses that go along with it. The tooltip at the bottom of the item will inform you what Set Bonuses are available. The Set Bonuses will appear in a red box.
Some of these bonuses are only available for specific pieces of equipment. For example, if you have the complete Phantom Armor set you will get +8 defense (compared to the standard +3 defense offered by most equipment). Some sets are only available by completing certain tasks, or buying them from the Auction House.
It is possible to get Set Bonuses for multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. For example, if you have the complete Kestra's Descent set and the matching parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will receive the + version of that set's bonus when you soul match it.
Unlike Effects that change each when you upgrade them, Set Bonuses stay identical even as the individual pieces of equipment they are connected to rise. If an item is exemplarized too low, then the set bonus won't be effective.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that appear on an item set and grant players a boost in combat. They grant a specific amount of a specific type of stat, for example weapon damage, defenses, or resistances. However, they don't stack; only one will be active at a time. The amount of an attribute is determined by the amount of pieces in the set. For example you could have three weapons and four chests but only one of them will benefit you.
In general, they increase the primary stat of a piece, however they can also boost secondary stats too. Defence bonuses increase three defenses for each position and two typed defenses as an example a complete five-piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to a total of around 400 defense in your equipment. This is a significant increase in your gear for melee.
This is a fantastic feature and one of the most popular features in the game. There are currently only a handful of sets of gear have set bonuses. They are only available on the Test Realm. However, the number of set bonuses is expected to increase when the update is released. The bonus will be added to the 7 school-specific Dragoons gear, as an example.
While Set Bonuses do not stack within a set, they do stack with other sets. This is ideal for players who wish to utilize the most optimal combination of sets. However, it does require some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item of equipment, therefore you need to be careful when putting them.
It is important to know that the value of the bonus of a set will not change even if your exemplar is higher than three levels lower than the minimum allowed for an Enhancement. This rule is not applicable to Purple (Very rare) Sets, PvP Sets and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses are in effect regardless of exemplar level.
