Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by melee and weapons and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next success result is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the
item upgrader and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be applied, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an
item upgrading has reached its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Some
upgrade item components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an
best Item Upgrade in your inventory after you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an
upgrade item by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
