It comes as a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for infants, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair and a selection of a group 0+ car seats, so you can get everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a really impressive buggy and it's simple to see why it has received so many high marks from its customers. It's incredibly light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg and it's extremely simple to build. In fact I was able to put it up and running in less than five minutes, which is impressive considering it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

It has a lovely wide, comfortable seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is simple to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of room and I am impressed that the handle bar has a pocket to keep your phone and keys secure.

The only downside is the handlebar is low, which can be an issue for taller parents. It's covered in a soft, comfy leather-like material, which is easy to clean.

It comes with a lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels for an easy ride. The front 3 wheel stroller with car seat can be locked for more stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller is also able to fold up to fit in car boot spaces or storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally the locking system (requiring two buttons on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebars are a bit higher than those of some competitors, and therefore may not be suitable for taller parents. However, this stroller is sturdy and adaptable, and is worth considering for families with active children.

Created to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more agile than its predecessor. I tried it with my two children - an eight-week-old and a toddler - on rocky pavements as well as grassy wooded paths and even cobblestones.

The large, puncture-proof wheels - either 22cm or a bit larger they can be used on different terrains. They also have a handy flap that can open or closes to let more air to enter when you require it, which is a nice addition. It is a little bigger than other pushchairs, however it does not feel heavy or bulky when pushing over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt confident using it on busy city streets. Another benefit is that it incorporates accessory points, meaning you can add footmuffs parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, but it isn't particularly waterproof. It's a single pram however, you can also attach their Comfort 3 wheeled travel system Board (not included) to give your child a bit of legroom.
