How to
Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO
The Upgrade is one the most important items in Pokemon GO. It allows trainers to transform Porygon2 into Porygon and also improve their Pokedex.
Although this item is rare, players can locate it by spinning the photo disc at a Pokestop, or as a reward during some special events. What does this item actually do?
Components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, trinkets or gathering tools in order to provide them with an attribute bonus. They are a vital component in the crafting process and can be gathered by salvaging or bought from vendors. You can also find them in the form of drops, either from enemies or in item spheres. They can be used to upgrade weapons or armor through an upgrade slot.
Using upgrade components to maximize the amount of experience gained when upgrading weapons and gear is essential to reach the highest degree of progression in the game. The multiplier of experience for an upgraded item is increased when it is combined with organic components, whereas mechanical components reduce it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will increase your experience gain and allow you to progress to the next level of weapon or equipment a lot easier to achieve.
The upgrade process is complicated, and it's important to know how it works in order to maximize the benefits of your upgrades. The system keeps a daily total for the component you are upgrading. Each component has either a positive or negative multiplier, and once the total is at a certain level the value will be reset to zero.
The amount of experience gained by each upgrade component could be affected by the item's hidden rank and its experience multiplier. The items with higher ranks will be more difficult to upgrade whereas the lower-ranked ones are easier to obtain.
It is crucial to take off all fasteners and connections that connect the old part. Keep them in an inventory tray for easy identification and safe-keeping. After the new hardware has been installed, re-connect any wires or cables and connect the power supply to electrical power. Then test the computer by switching it on. If everything is connected correctly the computer should start up normally. This is a crucial step to ensure that the new hardware is compatible with your current systems and will operate seamlessly.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a great way to make your gear better, but you need to know how to use them properly. Each glyph can be used to enhance an existing substatus, and the higher the rank of a glyph, the more powerful it becomes. Be careful since you can only upgrade Glyphs once. Glyphs are also one-time-use, so they disappear after you use them on an object or artifact.
The
Best item upgrader symbols are those that increase the likelihood of affixing an affix to the desired level. They are usually found on the most expensive weapons, armor and accessories. They can also be found on the Paragon Board. They are worth the extra effort but it can be difficult to find.
You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Chests or purchase them at the Trading Post. Some glyphs are only available for one-time use and others are permanent. These are ideal for items that need to be re-rolled frequently. The Glyph of Hope allows you to increase your chances of obtaining an affix you want by creating a magical effect on an item.
Some glyphs can also be used to modify existing affixes. This is often seen on boots and gloves. Each can host four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for example, transforms a prefix into an experimental affix. This is a great tool if you want an affix that is of high-quality in a certain slot or you wish to maximize the damage output.
Once you've reached level 50, the nature of the game shifts dramatically. Instead of having to rely on the campaign, you'll need to navigate the complex Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds in order to ensure that your build is as efficient as it can be.
The most effective glyphs are those that match your character's class, like the Exploit Glyph which boosts damage to weak enemies. Other excellent glyphs include Control Glyph, which boosts damage to enemies that are frozen, stunned or slow. Each glyph has its own radius, which grows as it is upgraded. This makes glyphs a great option to upgrade your gear later in the game.
