Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To make them, you need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.

During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They are also available to players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade items component will require a certain number of items to be used, as well as an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can add an item to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item level upgrade will vary based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item level upgrade type (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of the item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
