Item upgrades are upgrade item components that can be put into armor, weapons or trinkets to provide an added benefit. They usually come at a higher cost and require the item to be at an appropriate level.

Items with very high requirements typically don't see any value in upgrading. This is especially the case for items like the Titans of eth that don't have a lot variance.

Glyphs

After reaching the 50th level in Diablo 4, Blizzard's action-RPG is able to take a step away from its streamlined campaign into the final phase. The game's mechanics begin to change, with players forced into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds that ensure their class build is as strong as it can be.

Glyphs play a significant role to this progression. Glyphs' stats attributes and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are a variety of ways to acquire these upgrades, however most players will rely on the primary method: raiding Faction Crypts.

The Glyphs panel lets you add glyphs to your text by choosing the appropriate option from the menu that is located on the left of the screen. It initially displays glyphs in the font in which your cursor is located but you can switch to a different font or type style, and you can reduce the number of glyphs to a specific subset by selecting an option from the options below the Entire Font (for example Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). You can check the CID/GID value as well as the Unicode value of a glyph by moving your cursor.

The Glyphs Panel will keep the track of your last 35 glyphs and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you have to expand the panel in order that you can see all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by pressing it using the right-click option or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.

Another benefit of the Glyphs panel is the ability to create and modify the glyph set you want to use, which is beneficial when you need to write certain types of text often. This will help you avoid needing to manually insert each glyph when you need it.

A custom glyph set can contain the maximum number of glyphs, 31, including both the base name and its suffix. The glyphs in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) and lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The glyphs of the suffix may contain ligatures or contextual alternative that are special variations that combine two or more characters into a single visually unified glyph.

Reroll Tokens

Upgrades are the primary mechanic that offers bonuses to items, like additional stats. They come in different kinds: reroll levels up, recycle and reroll. Each type offers a distinct bonus on the item.

Reroll Tokens are used to change the item's base stats and upgrade numbers. They can also be used to reroll substats in rings. This is beneficial for players who want to upgrade their item however the "potential" potential power of that item isn't what they're looking for. Or if their substats of the item aren't what they want to be.

Rerolling an item costs 1 token and will reset the upgrades, but keep the rarity, set, and level unchanged. The higher a level of an item upgrade is the increase in its tier and with each tier, the main stat is increased by +3, and a random extra stat is also boosted. Leveling an item to its highest possible level increases its level by 1.

The Blueprint Desk is a tool that allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients and decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each preparation phase. They are opened by using Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and each category of upgradeable item has each with a distinct icon:

Some recipes require certain ingredients or appliances which can be purchased by selecting a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered staple which means they will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, whereas others have a higher chance of being available if a particular Franchise Card is picked from the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will be for the duration of the game. Similarly, non-staple Equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.

Recycled Items

The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product that is made from recycled materials you are not only helping the environment, but also giving the item new life. Most recycled products are sent back to their original manufacturer to be remade into a new item. We call this "closing of the recycling loop."

If a person throws something into their recycling bin on the curb the item upgrading is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it is separated and sorted into its different components. Then, it can be sold to end-user manufacturers to make something brand new. Remade products include:

This process reduces the necessity to harvest, cultivate or extract raw materials to create something else. This reduces the amount of damage caused to the natural world as fewer trees are removed and rivers diverted, and wild animals are displaced. This also reduces pollution from dumping raw material into our soil, water and the air.

Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs alive particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. This is due to the fact that demand for these products can encourage companies to participate in this environmentally healthy initiative.

The last reason to purchase recycled products is that it requires less energy to produce new products from recycled materials than to create them from raw materials. This is because the manufacturing process of creating a brand new aluminum can requires 95 percent more energy than manufacturing of an identical aluminum can made from recycled material. This is why every little bit counts.

Leveling

The majority of units can upgrade their level, which gives them additional XP every time they attack or are attacked. This can be used to increase their primary stat, or unlock other upgrades in the unit's tree. Weapons are a great example, since they can improve their level and increase their damage and range.

Most leveling systems have an arbitrary amount of levels to be completed, however it can differ from game-to-game. Leveling is done through the use of coins or resources. The majority of systems utilize both, but some only use one.

In many games, leveling is a problem because it makes certain units too powerful while other units aren't able to be competitive. Limiting the amount of leveling that players are allowed to perform will force them to decide what they'd like to upgrade, and the reason for it.
