Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Components

Upgrade components are the items that can make your weapons and armor better. You can locate them by destroying enemies, buying them from karma vendors or finding them in the form of item-spheres. Each component has a unique experience multiplier. This determines the amount of experience an item will gain when upgraded with that component.
