WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item upgrader mod level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of weapon or armor.
