Best
twin buggy Stroller For Newborns
If you're expecting twins, or have two kids close in age, a double stroller is a must. The best double strollers offer different ways to ride your children, including side by side seating and a board attachment.
The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's top stroller. It can be adapted to your family's needs seamlessly. It can be used with two infant car seats, as well as an infant seat. This makes it an excellent option for twins.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the best
twin stroller with car seats stroller for families that need a stylish, double side-byside stroller. It's a bit bigger than other Bugaboo strollers however it feels sturdy and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that retracts and extends easily. It has a decent reach so my husband, who is 6'1" is able to easily push it, even when he is fully loaded.
The seats are large and can be set up to have one child sit on top of the other, or to have the children face each other. They can also recline in a different way from each other. The canopies are big and cover both fabric should you wish. They're not very ventilated which makes them feel like an oven on hot days. There's no peek-a-boo window to see your children.
This stroller features a unique feature that lets it grow with your family and you. It can go from a single seat (Mono Mode) to a double side-by-side stroller. This is the only convertible double stroller that can do this! It can also be used with an additional bassinet or car seat for newborns.
It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces and handles slopes and steps well. It can be a challenge to maneuver through crowded restaurants and shops. It can be a bit difficult to fold the seat down, especially if it's connected. It is still compact and fits through most doors.
There is an additional storage bin that can be tucked away on the frame, next to the front seat in mono mode. This is useful for groceries and other items. The main storage basket beneath the seats is big and can hold up 100 pounds. This is more than any stroller on our list!
Uppababy Vista V2
This stroller is one of the best twin strollers for newborns. It is compatible with a range of infant car seats and bassinets (adapters sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller right out of the box. It can even accommodate two bassinets or infant car seats at the same time when you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.
The V2 is a redesigned version of the original Vista. The toddler seat is about an inch taller, the footrest has more space, and the canopy has a zip-out fabric extender that provides additional coverage. The harness has also been modernized in that it does not require re-threading. This makes it easier to adjust.
The stroller comes with large wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in back) and a robust suspension system, which allows it to handle any terrain. The rubber wheels on the front are ideal to navigate through rocks and gravel, while the tread on the rear wheels is better for sidewalks or grassy hills.
A child's bike can be attached to the front of a stroller. This is a great choice for parents who don't wish to invest in a baby car seat. If you have a child who's old enough to stand and walk, the Vista stroller can accommodate an additional child using its piggyback board accessory.
The Vista is easy to use and set up, although it can take some time to remove all of the protective packaging. The instructions are simple to follow and there's also an YouTube video to help for assistance if you require more information.
Thule Urban Glide 3
The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the newest version of the popular
stroller double for all-terrain use. It's made to appeal to modern families who value style, sustainability and adventure. It features exciting improvements including a built-in feet rest and a reclined seat, which offers the best comfort for children on long walks and jogs. Its sleek, agile design enhances its maneuverability.
It's incredibly lightweight, making it a breeze to push and easy to accelerate once you're on the road. Its suspension is able to handle sudden changes in surface (such as grass turning to pavement) and the oversized tires provide enough traction for any terrain. It is able to easily climb kerbs and turn in tight spaces like city streets. Even narrow sidewalks and crowded park are not a problem.
The new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that provides parents with an abundance of comfort and convenience. The oversized canopy provides excellent sun protection, comes with an easy peekaboo feature and a top-quality harness system, and an integrated handbrake that's perfectly tuned. It is packed with storage space, including pockets inside the seat and a massive cargo bag that can hold up to 15 lbs.
This Thule Jogger also has bassinets, ideal for babies who need to stroll and a double version that can accommodate two kids. It can be used with car seat adapters so that you can use your infant carrier and it comes with a one-handed fold to make it easy to transport and put away. Cortina Together
Cortina Together is designed for families that are growing and provides parents with various seating options to meet the preferences and needs of each child. The double stroller's two standard stroller seats come with reclining backrests as well as independent canopy. The seats are also designed to accommodate Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the number one baby car seat in both the front and rear seat. (Car seat sold separately).
A padded 3-position handle comfortably can be used by dad or mom, and a zippered rear access large basket provides ample storage space for your gear. The wheels and suspension of the tandem double stroller offer an easy ride on any terrain. The one-touch linked rear breaks with toe-tap activated make stopping simple.
In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well in terms of ease of use. This is based on how simple it is to fold and set up the stroller, adjust the safety harness and open and close the snack tray, engage and deengage the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if placing it in a trunk and for compatible double strollers install and remove an infant car seat.
We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded which puts it close to the extreme end of our measurement. It also has a limited view from the back seat when a car seat is installed. Lastly, the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, particularly after prolonged use. Despite these issues, we consider this to be a great stroller to have for your family.
Jeep Double Stroller
The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller ideal for families with two kids. Its front swivel lock wheels rotate to maneuver on flat surfaces, and secure for stability on bumpy ones which makes it easy to travel wherever you want to go. It also comes with an umbrella fold that can be closed in a matter of seconds, and it stands upright for easy transportation. Its light aluminum frame along with the foam handles and carrying strap make it one of the easiest to lift
double strollers in our tests.
This tandem stroller comes with reclined seats that can be independently adjusted for maximum comfort. Its large canopy can provide UPF 50 sun protection. It also has a peekaboo window that allows for easy monitoring. We wish the canopy was vented for extra airflow, though. We were not happy the fact that the cup holder is extremely high on the frame. You'll need to bend down in order to reach it.
In our tipping test, the Jeep fell over at a 39-degree angle, which is more than the average for the
double tandem pushchair pram. It's also heavier than our top picks, but it does provide a decent amount of storage space for its cost and has ample padding in the seats as well as the handle.
This stroller is multi-functional, and features three modes. It can be used as a walker (for stuff) as well as a Jogger mode (with two safety belts with five points for children) or car seat mode. It can fit one car seat for infants but pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is six months old before running with them and one year old before letting them go on rough terrain. It is available in black and has a limited lifetime warranty.
